The THIRD ANNUAL JRG Community Day Charity Fundraiser Is Here!

OUR COMMUNITY. One day, one lofty goal!

It is no secret that the communities in which we operate are near and dear to everyone within our company. As such, we place a great deal of importance on giving back and supporting our communities as best we can.

It goes without saying that we are all very excited about our upcoming 3rd Annual JRG COMMUNITY DAY!

On Sunday, December 13th, all JRG Public houses will serve as community ‘open houses’ from 3 – 6pm. Our goal within this time and of course throughout the entire Christmas season, is to raise as much money as possible in support of local charities.

We have reached out to every single supplier, trade partner, local businesses, a staff of 500+, and of course to all of you to help accomplish this goal.

Tickets include our signature burger and a house lager, with ALL proceeds going to charity. In addition, we will have our Happy Hour Specials on the entire day for you to enjoy while you stay and participate in the activities we have planned for you.

You will find local performers, games including a dunk tank (for those that would take enjoyment in seeing our Management team submersed in a tank full of icy water), and a collection of thousands of dollars in generous donations for silent and live auction prizing for every location. These prize packages would be a treasure to keep or make absolutely phenomenal gifts, and can include Whistler lift/ accommodation packages, Canucks tickets, Cruises, and much, much more.

The charities we support include local elementary schools, food banks, community kitchens, and the local families that we have adopted to support to ensure that they have a wonderful Christmas filled with food and gifts for each other, plus other charities specific to the communities surrounding each of our locations.

I kindly ask every single one of you to allot whatever time you can and spend some time with us on December 13th to raise some much needed funds for those in need and less fortunate. We are also still working hard on creating some show-stopping auction gift baskets and prize items, to which we sincerely hope you can contribute.

In return for your generous prize or cash donation, we are happy to offer you the following: a mention of your prize and it’s value, including a link to the website of your choice, which will reach 15,000 of our email subscribers, 100,000 weekly Facebook viewers, our entire network of centres of influence, any press releases that are picked up, plus of course exposure on the day of the event and to the eventual prize recipient. To receive all promotional consideration, donations of prizes must be in, and detailed information should be emailed to our marketing department at social jrgvancouver.ca by November 15th, 2015.
