Our Story

A Tale Of Two Friends

Joseph Richard Group is a collection of pubs, nightclubs and other ventures owned by André “Joseph” Bourque and Ryan “Richard” Moreno.
We met in elementary school and have been best friends ever since.

We have thrived in the culture of restaurants, hospitality and nightclubs for more than 15 years, beginning as bartenders in our late teens
and working our way up until we opened our first venue in 2002. We’ve opened 27 establishments together over the past 13 years,
constantly fine-tuning our concepts according to the needs of our clientele.

After all this time, one thing has never wavered – and that’s our commitment to exceptional service and top quality offerings. JRG Group establishments are well-known for having dedicated staff, a welcoming ambiance and the best pub fare you can sink your teeth into.

In the next year, we’ll be expanding JRG across the Lower Mainland and into Alberta;  increasing both the number of locations
and the scope of the business including liquor retail stores, a new hotel project and even a signature bakery.
