What advice would you give to your 20 year old self?

Take opportunities that are given to you, ask for things, don’t  expect that the world is going to give you everything you deserve… ask and work for it.

Who is your biggest fan?

My sister, she has supported everything I have ever done, no matter if she thought it was good or bad for me. A true best friend!!

What did you do during the summer time when you were young?

I went with my family to a resort just outside of Vernon every summer for about 2 months, enjoying the sun, boating, skiing and wakeboarding several times a day……… much how I’d like my retirement to be.

Do you recall any interesting stories relayed to you by any of your elder relatives?

When I first understood what it meant to work for money, I started cutting lawns for family when I was around 12. When I made my first few dollars, I gave my grandpa a dollar bill for his 65th birthday, he tucked it in to a picture frame in his den, several years later he passed and on my 26th birthday my grandma framed that dollar and gave it back to me as a gift!

Biggest fear?

Birds…….No question.

What was your favorite music/band/dance in high school?

I liked and still like most every genre and many many artists but if I had to chose one …Wu Tang Clan……..And It still Is

What was your first job?

I was a dishwasher at the Delta Lion Pub.

What was your worst job?

I was a swamper at the Costco cross dock in Port Kells

In what ways have your parents influenced you the most?

My parents have inspired my to raise my children the same way they did, I think that is the best compliment a parent could get!

What is your relationship with your parents like today?

Im very close with my parents, closer with my mom for sure. But there is nothing I wouldn’t do for them and vice versa. I am very lucky!
