ANNOUNCEMENT! S+L Kitchen & Bar Opening In Abbotsford

Surrey, BC (Thursday, July 14, 2016) – The Joseph Richard Group will launch its second edition of S+L Kitchen & Bar, in Abbotsford this coming Fall.  Its menu offers everything from Wagyu steak to Mac and Cheese sticks while providing a variety of beverage options featuring an array of craft beer and unique craft cocktails.  Guests can enjoy an experience like no other while being served from our Sozzle Cart, a mixologist-manned bar on wheels.  The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner as well as offering a special brunch menu on Sundays as part of the JRG Sunday Brunch Club.

It will be the second JRG concept to open in Abbotsford; Townhall Public House opened in Abbotsford in 2013 as owners Ryan Moreno and Andre Bourque continue to see opportunity in the growing community. 

“The idea was to create a dining experience that can be enjoyed by guests young and old.” Joseph Richard Group CEO Ryan Moreno said he is excited to see the brand expand into a familiar market, “while we offer a menu that features some of the highest quality foods, it does so at a price point people can feel good about.” 

Not a traditional steakhouse, the concept features a menu designed by JRG Corporate Chef, and MasterChef Canada Season 2 winner, David Jorge. “We are excited” Jorge said. While people who are familiar with S+L Langley will be able to experience the same great menu, there will be some new twists as well, “it is a new brand so we are always going to be exploring new ideas on how we can make the menu even more exciting and better for our guests.”
